StartupHighway, a seed accelerator for the best start-ups in the Central and Eastern Europe has launched in Vilnius, Lithuania

Do you have a great business idea? Apply until August 15! StartupHighway is the 13 week startup accelerator that combines €14K in funding, a network of mentors and essential resources for starting up.
StartupHighway aspires to be the best among the start-up accelerator programs in Central and Eastern Europe. The first round will run in Vilnius (Lithuania) in the Fall of 2011. Startups from around the continent and in different stages (from idea only to already profitable businesses) can apply to the program. StartupHighway will provide a combination of the best of both worlds - a very experienced fleet of mentors from all around Europe combined with the value advantages associated with doing a startup in tech-friendly Vilnius.
After a rigorous selection process the start-ups accepted to the program will receive pre-seed funding of up to EUR 14k each in exchange for 10% of their shares. They will spend three intensive months in Vilnius from September to December 2011. During that time they will be exposed to more than 70 mentors, who will share their experience and provide help to the teams to speed up their development towards success. At the end of the program the startup companies will have a chance to present themselves to a group of some of the most prominent early stage startup investors in Europe.
